Eddie Embleton appointed CEO Designate of the Electrical Distributors’ Association

The appointment follows a highly successful 12-year tenure by Margaret Fitzsimons as Chief Executive and includes a structured transition period as she steps back into a part-time strategic role, ensuring continuity and a smooth handover of responsibilities. In his new role, Eddie will lead the EDA in its next phase of development, working with the Board, the EDA team, and the Association’s 260 wholesaler members and 130 affiliated companies to strengthen the EDA’s position at the heart of the industry.
